Got Power in Art
Raju Pramanik is a self-taught visual artist from Santipur. He is fighting a crucial war against Ankylosing Spondylitis – a disease that restricts body movement.
During the dark times of Covid he started painting and found his new way of living. With time he felt that painting is the repose he was searching for.
A government school teacher of Mathematics by profession, Raju Pramanik finds Art as his power to fight this chronic ailment. He started his painting journey with watercolor and gradually moved to acrylic and oil as his medium.
Honorable Collector
Raju Pramanik performed a live painting in one of the meetings of the Honorable Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Honorable MP Mahua Moitra collected this painting.
